# Master's Touch Upholstery

> Family-owned furniture reupholstery workshop in Santa Rosa, California, operating since 1985 and serving Sonoma County, Marin County, Lake County and the greater North Bay. We rebuild sofas, sectionals, armchairs, dining chairs, and heirloom pieces by hand: whatever the piece actually needs — a foam swap and a fresh cover for one, a full strip-to-the-frame rebuild for another — reinforced, re-sprung where the springs have loosened, refilled with premium high-density foam, and re-covered in designer-grade fabrics and leather to last another generation.

Master's Touch Upholstery is a small, hands-on shop. Owner Dan Skiles Jr. has been upholstering by hand for over 50 years, and every project is quoted and rebuilt by the same people. Free in-home estimates and no obligation. Reupholstery here means rebuilding, not resurfacing.

- What we do: frame-up reupholstery when a piece needs it, spring re-tying, deck reinforcement, foam replacement, cushion rebuilding, custom fabric and leather re-covering, hand-finished seams.
- Fabric: sold and sourced through our Santa Rosa showroom from the major upholstery mills — Kravet, Pindler, Fabricut, Schumacher, Sunbrella, and others. Supplying your own fabric is possible but comes with a 20% COM (customer's own material) surcharge on labor.
- What we don't do: automotive or vehicle upholstery. Extensive wood refinishing — the workshop can clean up wood and glue loose joints during a reupholstery, but a true refinish is referred out to a specialist.
- Approach: honest assessment before work begins; if a piece cannot be saved economically, we say so first.
- Quotes: free in-home estimates; we'll be in touch with a written quote as soon as we can.
